Spitex stands for 'outpatient care and support'. We offer professional nursing and care in your home, so you can remain in your familiar surroundings.
Home care services are suitable for all people who need support with personal care, medical treatment, or daily living – regardless of age. This includes elderly people, people recovering from surgery or illness, people with chronic illnesses, and people with disabilities.
Contact us for a free consultation. For services covered by health insurance, you will need a doctor's prescription. We are happy to assist you with the arrangements.
The costs are covered by different entities depending on the type of service: Health insurance covers medically prescribed nursing care (categories A, B, C). The canton and municipality contribute the remaining costs. You yourself pay a patient contribution (max. CHF 7.65 /day) as well as the costs for housekeeping and care.
For nursing care services (A, B, C), you as a patient pay a maximum of CHF 15.95 per day plus your health insurance deductible and co-payment. Housekeeping services are charged according to the time and materials required and must be paid privately.
Yes, if you are entitled to supplementary benefits (EL), these can cover additional costs for care and support. We would be happy to advise you on your options.
Yes! At Acuris Care, you can be employed as a family member to care for your loved one. You will receive fair pay (CHF 38-42/hour) and be covered by social security. I am fully committed to completing the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) course within one year.
You should be able to perform the necessary caregiving tasks. Prior caregiving experience is an advantage, but not mandatory – we will provide the necessary training. The family member requiring care must have a recognized need for care.
After a consultation and needs assessment by our specialists, you will receive a standard employment contract. You will receive training and can rely on our professional support at any time.
The hourly wage ranges from CHF 38 to CHF 42, depending on the type and scope of caregiving duties. Use our wage calculator for a personalized estimate.
We can usually begin providing care within a few days of assessing your needs. In urgent cases, a faster start is also possible.
You will be cared for by qualified nursing professionals. We ensure continuity of care so that you are looked after by the same people as much as possible and can build a trusting relationship.
Yes, we offer care services seven days a week.
Our staff is available directly every day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Outside of these hours (after 10:00 PM), we recommend contacting the public emergency services for medical emergencies.
